Appointment Policies

Read carefully before scheduling

Deposit:

  1. A $50 deposit ($30 for a consultation) is required to schedule your appointment at the time of scheduling. The deposit will go towards your procedure on the day of your appointment.
  2. Balance is due the day of your procedure. We accept сash, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal as forms of payment.
  3. A 48-hour cancellation notice is required. In the event you need to reschedule your appointment please do so by email or by calling.
  4. Deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if you don't show up or cancel your appointment later than 48 hours before the procedure(s).
  5. An additional deposit will be required to make a new appointment if 2 appointments are missed or canceled. Please be respectful with our time as we are with yours.
  6. To avoid unfair delays to other clients, if you are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment it may be necessary to reschedule.
  7. No children under the age of 18 are allowed in the room during a procedure.
  8. You cannot be pregnant or nursing and get a service done.
  9. We reserve the right to refuse services to anyone.
  10. If you have previous work done, email us your picture FIRST before booking an appointment, we need to approve it.

Results:

  1. Elena Saenko Beauty cannot guarantee healed results on anyone. Final results will vary for everyone. Some brow product/makeup may still be required to give you the results you desire.
  2. Any additional sessions after your one included touch up will be charged accordingly.
  3. A total of 1 session is included in the cost of a procedure.
  4. Some people may need up to 3 sessions which will be an additional fee!
  5. Additional session fee depends on the cost of an initial procedure as well as the date of follow up appointment. Read more on SERVICES page.

Pre-appointment restrictions

Read carefully before your visit

Please read carefully. The following restrictions are to ensure your skin is in the best state possible for your permanent makeup experience.

  1. Avoid direct sunlight at least 3 days before a procedure.
  2. Do not tan 2 weeks prior or have sunburned skin.
  3. Do not have Botox at least 1 month prior.
  4. Do not have any type of facial/peel/laser 2-3 weeks prior to a procedure.
  5. Do not work out heavily right before the procedure.
  6. Do not wax, pluck, tweeze, thread or tint eyebrows within 3 days before procedure.
  7. Do not consume alcohol 24-48 hours before a procedure.
  8. Do not take Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E and/or Ibuprofen, omega-3, unless medically necessary, 48-72 hours prior to the procedure. (Tylenol or acetaminophen is okay!)
  9. Please discontinue Vitamin A/ Retinol products one month prior to appointment.

People ineligible for permanent makeup / Contraindications

  1. Any person under 18 years old
  2. Pregnant or breastfeeding
  3. Susceptibility to Keloidal scarring
  4. Growth in the micropigmentation area (e.g. papilloma, hemangioma, nevus, etc.)
  5. Type 1 Diabetes (insulin-dependent0
  6. Undergoing chemotherapy (consult your doctor first)
  7. Viral infections/ diseases/ sickness (flu/cold)
  8. Epilepsy/seizures
  9. Mental disorders
  10. Ocular demodecosis (contraindication for permanent eyeliner)
  11. Herpes simplex (cold sore) outbreak or if recurring often
  12. Pacemaker or heart problems
  13. Had an organ transplant
  14. Psoriasis near the treated area or skin irritations such as acne, sunburn, eczema, or rashes
  15. Botox in the last 3 weeks
  16. Accutane or steroids in the last year
  17. On blood thinners/heart medication
  18. Has thyroid/graves’ disease (medication may cause pigment not to retain properly)
  19. HIV/hepatitis, shingles, skin cancer, skin diseases, glaucoma
  20. AHA’s (lactic, glycolic, citric, retinoid and tartaric acids) or any OTC creams and lotions for tone correcting, anti-aging, exfoliating, fading can discolor your permanent makeup.

Correction Policy

Skin with someone else's work

There is a FULL price for correction of work done by another artist.

If you have previous work done, you must send a clear photo of your lips/eyebrows/eyes for approval prior booking (elena.saenko.pmu@gmail.com). If you book your appointment without approval, your appointment cannot be guaranteed and your deposit will be lost.

After Care

Read carefully after your visit

General aftercare recommendations for permanent makeup:​

Avoid the following for 10 days or until fully healed:

  1. Direct sun.
  2. Swimming pools/hot tubs.
  3. Sauna, steam.
  4. Picking, itching, scrubbing the affected area.
  5. Heavy workouts, heavy sweating, hot yoga.
  6. Neosporin, vitamin E, coconut oil, aloe vera.
  7. Products containing AHA's on or near pigmented areas including glycolic/lactic acids, Retin A.
  8. Sunscreen on or around brow area until fully healed.

You will get more individualized aftercare recommendations during your visit.

SMP Specific Instructions

  1. On the day of the procedure, you can not wet your head after
  2. The next day, you can rinse your head gently without shampoo
  3. On the third day you can apply shampoo
  4. Baths and pools are not to be used for two weeks
  5. Do not use scrubs and peels to speed up peeling
  6. Avoid direct sunlight and solarium for 2 weeks
